Make a USB sound card is easy if you use a chip from the PCM2702 IC BURR BROWN / Texas Instruments in it, you can create a fully functional USB sound card. Sound Card gets power from the USB port and has one stereo output. You do not need to install any drivers for Windows XP and Vista, because they are already inside. It remains only to connect and listen.
This USB soundcard scheme works very well. The efficiency was tested on Windows 2000, XP and Vista. Drivers are in the system because the sound card can be used immediately, without any additional software.
There are new chips PCM2704, PCM2705 an even better solution with rich functionality.
